We are Angela and Peter Thompson, the proud owners of Nature’s Supply Café. We opened the café in 2017 because we wanted to create a place that combines Angela’s love for nature and sustainability with Peter’s passion for Maori history and culture. The Hakatere / Ashburton River area is for many people not well known for Māori culture. With the café, we are happy to do our bit to change this and share the long history in the area with our customers.
